In the next three months, 11 new interns will have the opportunity to gain valuable practical knowledge in different areas. Several interns that were part of the first group will continue their professional training in the company.
“The Internship Program is essentially useful for both sides, and the experience is always positive. The students that completed the program are now fully qualified and with the needed self-confidence to start their own professional careers and OKTA found well trained staff in compliance with company’s needs. Internship is part of our business strategy, and therefore we will continue with this program in order as many students as possible have a chance to gain real practical knowledge, as well as possibility for further employment in a big company such as OKTA”, said Radojka H. Denkovska, OKTA’s CSR & Communication Manager.
“During my internship in OKTA I was involved and worked on many ongoing processes and activities that gave me valuable experience and showed me how such big company operates. By taking part in all of these activities motivated me to stay in and contribute in continuous improvement of the company.”, said Monika Uler Zefikj, one of the interns.
The program is structured in three months cycles, and the students are selected from 8 faculties within the “Ss Cyril and Methodius” University, as well as the private university, University American College Skopje.
The interns are engaged during the full-time working hours in different operative sections of the company. OKTA pays a reward to interns and also covers the cost of their transportation and meals.Category: Member News
