ProCredit Bank is the leading provider of financing to agricultural businesses in Macedonia. As part of its cooperation with this sector, the bank will organize an Agricultural Business Forum, which will bring together all relevant parties of the Macedonian agricultural sector: primary agricultural producers, processors of domestic agricultural products, exporters of agricultural products, the Federation of Farmers and agricultural businesses, as well as the Ministry of Agriculture.
The Agricultural Business Forum, which will take place on 17 December, will open up new opportunities for networking and co-operation for domestic agricultural enterprises; it will promote the most innovative agricultural practices and techniques, and will create space for dialogue on new laws aimed at supporting domestic agriculture.
As an integral part of this year’s event, ProCredit Bank will announce the 10 most proactive agricultural businesses. The competition is in its third year and the call for applications is already open. Entries must be received by 30 November.
For the first time, processors of domestic agricultural products and exporters of agricultural products will be included in the competition, as will primary agricultural producers from the following categories: cereals, vegetables (more than 5 acres), fruits (more than 30 acres), livestock (more than 300 head of cattle) and certified organic production.
All interested agricultural businesses can apply at ProCredit Bank’s website or at their nearest ProCredit branch.
The winners will be announced at the Agricultural Business Forum on 17 December and will receive a business trip to one of Europe’s biggest agricultural fairs: Fruit Logistika in Berlin. This is good opportunity for Macedonian businesses to acquire new international contacts and to see the newest innovations in agriculture.
This event is part of ProCredit Bank’s mission to develop local business sectors that have the greatest potential.Category: Member News
