Roche started a Social Responsibility Campaign in cooperation with the Red Cross and the State School for Rehabilitation of Children and Youth with Visual Impairments. Under the slogan “Share the light!” Roche has developed long-term campaign that will aim to help all visually impaired people in the Republic of Macedonia.
In cooperation with the Red Cross Skopje and State School for Rehabilitation of Children and Youth with Visual Impairments “Dimitar Vlahov”, pharmaceutical company Roche has developed a project, which will be divided into several phases, each phase will target different age groups in order to support visually impaired people in our country.
“I would like to emphasize that this is a long-term, substantial project. This campaign will make long-term and sustainable changes to facilitate the inclusion of visually impaired people in the society, to discover new needs and find solutions to achieve them. “Share the light!” is a campaign which should urge finding new partners who will provide additional support to the entire project. As a socially responsible company we always go much further revealing new opportunities and so this time we are starting a project, which will not remain a one-time donation, but rather it will detect and address in the long run the essential needs of impaired people in Macedonia.” said Mr. Apaydin.
More than a century, Roche redirects part of its financial and human resources in projects for social responsibility, stimulating science and promoting cultural activities.Category: Member News
