AmCham Seminar on “Customer Service as a Marketing Tool” with Barbara Operschall February 27, 2015

As part of AmCham’s efforts to promote good business practices and share experience from other countries, we invited Barbara Operschall, longtime CEO of Best Western Central Europe in Vienna, Austria to held a “Customer Service as a Marketing Tool” Seminar. The event took place on Thursday, February 26th at M6 Educational Centre.

After the official opening by Miroslav Marchev, President of the Board,  Ms. Operschall gave executive summary of the materials, while in the second part of the event continued in to more in-depth training covering the following topics:

  • Team motivation & empowerment for service excellence;
  • Customer expectations;
  • Complaints are opportunities, not threats;
  • Quality assurance measures.

Over 80 participants attended the event, mostly representatives from AmCham member companies. 78.5% of the attendees evaluated the event, 88% gave high rates for the speaker and the seminar format, while only 12% rated the event as average.

The event was promoted in over 12 media in the Republic of Macedonia.
