On March 19th, Halkbank AD Skopje officially opened a new branch in the municipality of Gazi Baba, Skopje as another successful step of the Bank toward increasing its presence and availability by meeting the daily banking needs of the citizens and businesses in a qualitative and consistent way.
With this, 16th branch in Skopje, the Bank enables easier and quality communication with its existing and potential clients.
The opening ceremony started with an address from Mr. Necdet Palakci, the CED of Halkbank AD Skopje. He promised that the trend of growth and increased availability of the Bank will continue in the future, expressing the plans for opening three more branches in the country and announcing the expansion and modernization of the existing ones. Many distinguished guests attended the event, including: Mr. Ömür Şölendil, Ambassador of Republic of Turkey in Macedonia, Mr. Toni Trajkovski, Mayor of Gazi Baba, as well as other important business clients of the Bank.
The new branch will provide all products and services of Halkbank AD Skopje (savings, national and international payments, e- banking, loans for legal entities and individuals, fast money transfer through Western Union, issuing VISA, MasterCard, Maestro and Pay Pass cards, etc.). The branch will present a place for Bank to build quality and close relationships with all of its existing and new customers from this area.
Halkbank AD Skopje in the last two years has increased the number of branches from 21 to 33 in 18 cities in the country. This approach made a significant progress in the profitability, assets size and its working network, ranking as a Bank among the top three in the country in terms of rate of growth, while at the same time keeping its NPL level below the sector’s average.
