17 new students are part of the third consecutive cycle of OKTA’s Internship Program. The company continues with the program considering the previous positive practice which has brought benefits for both sides. The program enables young prosperous talents to gain work experience in a large multinational company and to obtain on-the-job training by our professionals. On the other side the students rejuvenate the company’s staff and offer fresh and innovative ideas that add value to our business. From the previous two cycles of the internship program, OKTA decided to extend the engagement to four interns who demonstrated their skills, knowledge and readiness for work.
The candidates are chosen from the state and private faculties close and related to OKTA’s operation, such as the Faculty of Economy, the Law Faculty, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Technology, the Natural Sciences Faculty – Chemistry Department, the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Safety, the Faculty of Philology from the State Universities Ss. Cyril and Methodius, as well as the Private University American College. The students are selected according to their academic achievements and motivation to develop their professional career.
The students and graduates are engaged for a three-month period, during which they are full-time involved in all operational processes of the company. OKTA covers their expenses for transportation and food, and provides additional financial reward.
For the students, the program is a very effective way to gain valuable knowledge and real world experience, while for OKTA presents an opportunity to identify suitable candidates to bring on board when an opening for new employment appears in the company.Category: Member News
