On Thursday, May 21st, 2015 at Pivara Skopje’s training facilities, 18 students met with representatives from 10 member companies to discuss internship opportunities as part of AmCham Macedonia’s internship program “Open a Door”. The Program was developed for students from low income households and officially launched in April 2015.
In the first hour, our member company Motiva conducted introductory training led by Mr. Zoran Kostovski on building mutual trust, explaining the basic elements necessary for building trust among the new, existing employees and management team within a company.
AMSM, ArcelorMittal Skopje, EVN Macedonia, Makedonski Telekom, OKTA, Philip Morris-TKP, Pivara Skopje, ProCredit Bank, Roche Macedonia and Wabtec MZT Skopje were participating in the matchmaking session in the second part of the event. Many of them offered internship positions to the candidates at the event.
According to member companies’ needs, in the upcoming period AmCham will continue to organize gatherings with interested students.
Special thanks to Pivara Skopje for hosting the event and providing beverages and to Motiva, especially Mr. Zoran Kostovski for delivering the training and making students to feel comfortable during the entire event.
