On 16th and 17th of June, Halkbank AD Skopje had official openings of the first branch office in Kavadarci and the renovated, expanded branch office in the municipality of Cair.
This is another successful step of the Bank regarding the trend of increasing its presence and availability by meeting the daily banking needs of the citizens and the economy in a qualitative and consistent way.
Through these branches, the Bank will be more available and close to its current and potential clients. It will serve citizens and numerous companies in a quality and effective manner, providing them with a wide range of financial services.
The ceremonies were officially opened by Mr. Necdet Palakci, the CEO of Halkbank AD Skopje. He noted that the trend of growth and increased availability of the Bank will continue in the future, expressing the plans for opening three more branch offices in the country. Starting with 21 branches when entered the market, now HalkBank has 33 branches throughout the country. By the end of 2015 this number will be increased to 36. This is a trend that we are proud of.
At the opening in Kavadarci, in his address, Mr. Aleksandar Panov – the Mayor of Kavadarci expressed his great respect and gratitude for opening the first Halkbank’s branch office in this town.
The event in Cair was joined by the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Mr. Omur Solendil, the mayor of municipality of Cair, Mr. Izet Mexiti, as well as many important business clients of the Bank.
Halkbank AD Skopje in the last two years has made a significant progress in its profitability, assets size and its working network, ranking as a Bank among the top three in the country in terms of rate of growth, while at the same time keeping its NPL level below the sector’s average.
