EVN Macedonia continues the support young and promising students in the field of energy. At the start of the school year, new 4 scholarships for students at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies in Skopje were granted.
Elena Spasovska, Tanja Serafimovska, Aleksandra Proeva and Adri Hamza are the students who will receive financial assistance of 6000 MKD from EVN in the next 10 months. A precondition for receiving these scholarships is an average grade higher than 8.
The dean of FEIT, Prof. Mile Stankovski, evaluated the project as very successful, because every other year the number of enrolled students at FEIT is increasing. This project also influenced the increasing of the competitiveness among applicants for scholarships.
At the ceremony of granting the scholarships, Aneta Petrovska Rusomaroski, HR Manager at EVN Macedonia, mentioned that the strategic goal of EVN Macedonia is to attract the best students and support the educational process.
“This is the main reason why every year we support students from the faculties with energy-related studies, with high academic achievements and a dedication for continuous individual and professional prosperity. It makes us very happy to know that our objective has been realized, because the first generation of students that won scholarships are already employed in our company and they contribute into achieving our goal – secure and quality supply of electricity” said Petrovska – Rusomaroski.
This is the fourth year that EVN together with the companies AD ELEM and AD MEPSO awarded scholarships to 14 talented students from FEIT.Category: Member News
