At the beginning of October, the Seavus Education & Development Center (SEDC) opened the first Business Simulator in Macedonia. The goal of the Business Simulator is to increase the employability among its students, and it’s established in accordance with the international standards for professional development of highly-qualified young adults.
In the simulator, the students will get real-life practice through a specially-designed training program where they will have actual roles in simulated business processes under the supervision of the mentor company. The Simulator is supported by the Increasing Market Employability Project- IME of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), implemented by Swisscontact, and the Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation in partnership with PREDA Plus.
During the press conference held at the official opening, Ms. Katharina Stocker, 1st Deputy Head of Mission and Deputy Director of Cooperation in the Embassy of Switzerland in Macedonia, and Mr. Borche Jankuloski from PREDA Plus, expressed their support for this initiative and for SEDC’s efforts in developing highly-qualified workforce that will ultimately contribute in increased employability of the younger generations in Macedonia.Category: Member News
