Weekend Seminar for Potential Entrepreneurs – Oct 31-Nov 1st October 19, 2015

AmCham Macedonia is sponsoring several weekend workshops to benefit members of the Summer Work and Travel Alumni Association (SWTA), featuring a U.S. speaker brought to Macedonia by the U.S. Embassy in Skopje. The workshops will help potential entrepreneurs better understand “The power of networking: How to build relationships for impact” and “Real lessons of social entrepreneurship: How to build from scratch”.

When: Sat, Oct 31 from 9:00-11:00, 13:00-15:00 AND Sunday, Nov 1st from 9:00-11:00

Where: Holiday Inn Skopje, Day Room

The speaker, Sam Vaghar, is a social entrepreneur, executive director and co-founder of the Millennium Campus Network (MCN).  Through its innovative fellowship program, annual conference, and grants programs, MCN is creating the next generation of global leaders on campuses across America. His primary responsibilities center on fundraising and outreach. Vaghar has represented the MCN in engaging with numerous global leaders including President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry. Website; Video.

USA Summer Work & Travel Alumni Macedonia is a non-profit organization voluntarily formed by an independent group of students to exercise, care and align their interests and beliefs, as well as for performing the activities and interventions aimed at improving and promoting the position and status of the students who were, are and will be part of the USA Summer Work & Travel Program.
