It will also include conducting a survey, promotion of informative material in form of flyers, posters and banners as well as medium promotion.

A two-day workshop has been planned where eminent experts and doctors of medicine will transfer their knowledge and experience. They will organize at least 10 educative workshops and 10 forums. As per data of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Macedonia, there are around 150 people in the republic of Macedonia on the waiting list for kidney transplantation, while there are around 1.500 people being cured with renal KB&RedCrossreplacement therapy, i.e. dialysis. For all of them transplantation is the best and the most natural treatment procedure, whereas the patient with chronic kidney disease is transplanted a kidney from an alive donor or from a patient with irreversible brain death, the so called cadaver. Cadaveric transplant actually means taking organs for transplantation from a deceasing person and most often transplanted organs are kidneys, liver, pancreas, lungs, heart and bone marrow.

When a man, during his life, decides to donate organs and tissues after his death, with the purpose of saving human lives of seriously ill people, it is recommendable to confirm the decision in written obtaining a donor card.
