With the launch of the Dot.up Media program, the IT giant Seavus officially opened the doors of the Seavus Incubator. The most important corporate social responsibility project of the company was announced on a press last week, which had a great media coverage and was attended by representatives of the international community, NGOs, media and businesses.
Biserka Koneska, Managing Director of the Seavus Incubator addressed the attendees, with a speech encouraging the creation of more open and dynamic start up scene and inviting all innovative young professionals to join the project.
H.E. Mr Mats Staffansson, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Macedonia, was a guest speaker during the event who supported Seavus’ initiative.
Guided by the premise of creating environment that stimulates the co-creation of innovative solutions and ideas, the Incubator launched the Dot.up Technology, Dot.up Creative and Dot.up Media programs. Seavus Incubator offers mentorship and support program for start-ups and small companies from IT, creative industries, and online media.
The Dot.up Media program will offer one-year free support, mentorship and technical assistance to on-line media portals focusing on different spheres of life such as fun, sports, humor and satire, as well as media informing on political and economic issues. The goal of the program is to support independent and investigative journalism in the country, and every portal is invited to join the Incubator.
