Skopje Firefighters Trained in “First Responder” Skills by U.S. Peers June 16, 2016

logoFrom May 9 – 19, inside the main fire station in Skopje, Macedonia, the first responder training was conducted for 30 firefighters from the Skopje fire brigade. This is the second training that LinkAcross has organized of this kind, in cooperation with the City of Skopje and the Fire Department of Skopje. Throughout the nine day course, Macedonian firefighters were trained in first responder skills such as: human anatomy, lifting and moving patients, CPR and AED, trauma patient assessment and other important areas. After successfully completing the training, the firefighters received a certificate for attending the course. The instructors of this course are experienced firefighters and EMT / Paramedics from United States. They even made a fun video to show the skills that firefighters from Skopje have acquired from this training. Enjoy!
