Informational Session on U.S. private sector exchange programs September 21, 2016

Seal_of_the_United_States_Department_of_State.svgAmCham and The Foreign Investors Council are co-sponsoring an informational session on U.S. private sector exchange programs with Keri Lowry, the U.S. Department of State’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Private Sector Exchanges.

The event will take place on Tuesday, September 27 starting from 10:00 at the Economic Chamber of Macedonia.

Lowry will discuss ways for university students, recent graduates, and professionals to gain exposure to U.S. culture and U.S. business practices as interns and trainees in their chosen occupational fields through the U.S. Exchange Visitor Program.

The U.S. Exchange Visitor Program brings over 300,000 foreign citizens to the United States annually to teach, study, develop their professional skills, strengthen their English language abilities, connect with Americans and learn more about the United States.
