Call for Public-Private Partnership Nominations for the P3 Impact Award March 27, 2017

The P3 Impact Award was launched in 2014 by the U.S. Department of State Secretary’s Office of Global Partnerships (S/GP), Concordia, and the University of Virginia’s Darden School Institute for Business in Society to honor exemplary public-private partnerships (P3) that are improving local communities and the world.

The S/GP Office is a center of excellence for collaboration among the U.S. Department of State, the public and private sectors, and civil society, and is now encouraging the Embassies to spread the word among networks to encourage others to do the same.  The S/GP Office is seeking submissions for the fourth annual P3 Impact Award.

Full criteria and application instructions can be found at are due April 3, 2017.  Applications will be reviewed based on the partnerships’ strength, measurable results, economic and/or social benefits, improved service delivery, innovative features, financial effectiveness, and scalability/replicability.

For the purpose of the application process, a public-private partnership is defined as any cross-sector collaboration that features public, private, nongovernmental, or nonprofit organizations that address societal problems.
