Kamnik Wines among the Best at the Global Wine Events June 16, 2017

One of the latest attention-grabbing news related to Kamnik wines is that they are going to be among the best wines at the forthcoming VINEXPO 2017 in Bordeaux, France, and they will also be protagonists at the exclusive stand of TASTED 100% BLIND, with Andreas Larsson.

VINEXPO (18-21 June 2017) is one of the leading events for the wine and spirits professionals, with 2350 exhibitors from 42 countries, almost 50.000 buyers and visitors from 151 countries and even 1200 journalists from 51 countries. An especially exciting moment during this large wine event is going to be TASTED 100% BLIND with Andreas Larsson, the Best Sommelier in World. The concept TASTED 100% BLIND is located at the exclusive stand of 240m2, the biggest exhibition platform at the heart of VINEXPO 2017, and it will showcase the impeccable wines that have been blind-tasted by Andreas Larsson. For the Kamnik winery team this event is absolutely exciting and they can’t wait to see the wines they create with ultimate passion, knowledge and experience, among the best again.

The leading world awards that Chateau Kamnik winery won during the first half of 2017 make large part of their success during the first half of the year. The most recent gold medal arrives to Macedonia from Italy, from “La Selezione del Sindaco” held this May in Amalfi, Salermo, for Cuvée de Prestige 2015. Two more gold medals recently also came from Bulgaria, from the Balkans International Wine Competition 2017 (BIWC 2017), one for Terroir Vranec Grand Reserva 2013 and one for Ten Barrels Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva 2013. Even more gold medals received from Concours Mondial de Bruxelles for Merlot Single Vineyard 2014, and from Konradin Selection Germany for  Cuvée de Prestige 2015, Terroir Vranec Grand Reserva 2013 и Ten Barrels Syrah Reserva 2015. This year for the very first time a significant medal comes from the USA, from The Great American International Wine Competition held in March this year were one of the most prestigious Kamnik wines Terroir Vranec Grand Reserva 2012 won a double gold medal. All of these medals and recognitions come during the first half of the year and the Chateau Kamnik team still has high expectations by the end of the year.
