CEED Macedonia Signs an Agreement with the EU on the Development of Social Entrepreneurship February 14, 2018

As part of the IPA cross-border cooperation program between Macedonia and Albania, at the end of 2017 CEED Macedonia, as a leading partner, signed a contract with the Delegation of the European Union to Macedonia for the implementation of the project “Social Enterprises – a bridge between the social sector and traditional businesses”. CEED Macedonia will implement the project in partnership with the association “Public” from Skopje, “Argitra-Vision” from Peshkopea, Albania and “CEED Albania” from Tirana, Albania.

The two-year project funded by the European Union will focus its efforts on supporting and developing social entrepreneurship in the border region between Macedonia and Albania. Among the main objectives of the project will be to strengthen the links and cooperation between social enterprises and the traditional business sector. The idea is to create better conditions for the development of social entrepreneurship by creating conditions for creating new and supporting existing social enterprises.
