After last month’s event focused on the General Data Protection Regulation’s (GDPR) legal aspects and implementation challenges and how they influence businesses, AmCham Macedonia is organizing a workshop focused on GDPR’s IT aspects and path to compliance.
This workshop aims to familiarize companies with the basic principles of the European regulation and help them create a compliance strategy. The participants will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the functional and technical requirements presented by Mane Piperevski, leading cyber security expert, supported by Goran Veleski, a Business Analyst who aims to build a bridge between business and personal data security.
- Brief overview – Basic introduction of the legislation with a focus on key elements, obligations, sanctions and means of protection;
- Compliance process – Initial steps and methods of approaching the path to compliance with the legislation. Identification of key elements of compliance and solutions for their implementation;
- Basic technical measures – The basic principles including: management of cyber incidents, provision of logs from created activities in IT systems, and commissioned external independent technical checks (ethical hacking – penetration testing). The presenter will highlight Microsoft as a potential compliance solution.
Who Should Attend:
Personal Data Protection Personnel, IT Managers, Legal Service Managers, HR Managers, Marketing Managers, and Risk Management Managers. Technical terms will be presented in a language understandable to a wider audience. No previous knowledge is necessary.
