ProCredit Bank’s Day without Vehicles on Fossil Fuels January 28, 2019

In order to contribute to reducing the air pollution in Skopje and raising the awareness for the protection  of the environment, ProCredit Bank organised the event “Day without Vehicles on Fossil Fuels” on Saturday, January 26. In the period of two hours in the parking lot of the Aqua Park in front of the Sports Center Boris Trajkovski, an educational exhibition of many supporters of electronic mobility was organised. In addition, all participants had an opportunity to do a test drive of ProCredit Bank’s electric cars.

In the frameworks of this event, a panel discussion on the topic “How to increase electromobility” was organized, where Mr. Jani Makraduli, Deputy Minister of Environment held a presentation. Attendees of the vent included Stefan Bogoev, Mayor of the Municipality of Karpos; Emilija Spirovska, Member of the Board of ProCredit Bank; as well as representatives from Porsche, EVN, Elektromobilnost Makedonija and MEPSO.
For the duration of the event, few of the streets next to SC Boris Trajkovski were transformed into Green streets, within which only electric and hybrid vehicles could pass and park. These vehicles have reduced emission of harmful gases and contribute to less air pollution, as well as lower noise levels in the environment.
