The trend of positive business results of Tikves Winery achieved in the past years, continues in the first quarter of 2019. Over 2.5 million litres of wine and brandy were sold, which is 12.1% more compared to the same period last year. In addition to the growth in sales on the domestic market, exports continue to grow, with the most significant increase of sales in Bulgaria, where growth in the first quarter is 313.7%, followed by Croatia, with a growth of 310, 8%; Montenegro-32.9%; Kosovo-25.3%, as well as the US market, where the sales of the quantities sold were increased by 76.8%.
Commenting on the achieved results of the company in the first three months of the year, Tikves General Manager Rados Vukicevic said: “We are satisfied with the achieved results in the first quarter. This enables us to maintain the continuity of positive results of the past years and provides us with a solid level of security for the realization of our ambitious business plans. In particular, such positive results will enable us to continue with intensive investments in further modernization of the processes in the winery, in the primary production and renewal of our own vineyards, as well as in the further expansion and refreshment of our portfolio of premium wines, which will continue to we offer the consumers what they expect and desire. “Category: Member News
